After sharing a dream, Tana and Maria open up a wormhole that sucks them into a timeless ether where they come face to face with their own antagonistic Dopplegangers, the perils of the human psyche, and the absurd pitfalls of human identity.
PREMIERE:
Crushing Baby Animals made it’s New York premiere as a part of an immersive theatrical experience written and performed by Tana Sirios and Maria Swisher at the Plaxall Gallery in partnership with Long Island City Artists.

A poet, on the wagon and soon to be a father, makes a deal to wipe away his debts. All he has to do is teach a young man, locked away as part of a secret government experiment, how to write a poem. But what happens when that secret no longer wants to be kept?
